The Aquarium’s maritime forest nature trails have long been a popular part of every visit. In 2015, the Aquarium added Tree-mendous, a fun new outdoor play area near the Alice Hoffman Nature Trail. Its major features include a swinging bridge, a spiral tube slide, an open slide, a cargo climbing net and a tire swing.
Tree-mendous was an instant hit after opening in 2015. Kids (and adults) enjoy crossing the swinging bridge to reach the tree platform, from which they have a commanding view of the surrounding maritime forest.
