Neptune’s Theater

NEPTUNE’S THEATER

The newly renovated Neptune’s Theater is the premium multipurpose presentation and programming space at the Aquarium on Roanoke Island. Immediately adjacent to the entrance foyer, it’s used daily for high definition films, live animal programs, meetings, events and even weddings.

With Aquarium renovations in 2016, Neptune’s Theater has been updated with a new entrance marquee, enhanced high definition projection, new staging, flooring and appointments. The Aquarium’s popular Science on the Sphere display has also been relocated to the rear of the theater space. This unique half-globe video presentation allows Aquarium educators to interact with visitors and discuss ocean currents, weather, continental drift and migration patterns.

Neptune’s Theater is regularly booked for weddings and parties.
