From January 14th to February 14th, help us collect a TON of non-perishable food items for our community with the TON OF LOVE Food Drive. Guests receive one free ticket per reservation when donating a grocery bag of food items. The complimentary admission will be an option when you make your reservation Online.

Create a splash at your next corporate meeting, birthday, bridal shower, or event by having an animal drop in virtually. Pick which animal ambassador you would like from the following animals: owl, sea turtle or river otters. The educator will give a brief introduction to the animal, allow your attendees a chance to ask questions, and then you can enjoy their animal shenanigans. Learn More.


The Aquariums offer paid summer internships!

The Historically Black Colleges/Universities (HBCU) & Minority Institutions of Higher Education (MIHE) Internship is a paid, ten-week program designed to expose, engage and educate students by giving them tangible, real-world experience. This opportunity is available to rising Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students. Interns work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks in the summer. Learn more about HBCU internships.

Youth Advocacy and Involvement Internships (YAIO) are also ten-week programs that offer professional work experiences that connect classroom learning and potential career choices. Applicants must be a permanent NC resident attending a college in North Carolina or a resident of NC attending an out of state institution. Learn more about YAIO internships.
