Sign Up for Summer Fun!

Summer camp registration kicks off on April 1st! Explore all the fun options available at the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island, from single-day to week-long camps. Get excited for behind-the-scenes experiences, field trip adventures, STEM activities and more! Members receive 10% off the camp fee.

The interactive, STEM-focused, educational camps offer options for ages 6-13. Participants will enjoy learning more about the animals that inhabit the Aquarium and eastern North Carolina with fun-filled indoor and outdoor activities, games and crafts! Campers should wear closed-toe shoes and bring a bag lunch.


Shuttle service is offered from Whalebone Park in Nags Head for week-long camps.

Half-day, Week-long Camps:

  • Animal Planet - Ages 6-7
  • Nature Play Wonders – Ages 6-7

Full-day, Week-long Camps:

  • Junior Shellebrate Turtles – Ages 8-9
  • Junior Aquarist - Ages 10-11
  • Junior Aquatic Adventures – Ages 10-11
  • Aquarist Camp – Ages 12-13

Single Day Camps

  • Sen“sea”tional Sharks – Ages 6-8
  • Aquarium Time – Ages 6-8
  • Junior Aquarist – Ages 9-12
  • Coastal Trotters – Ages 9-12
  • Fisherman’s Day Camp – Ages 9-12
