November 2022

Always anticipated and a favorite for holiday revelers, the 2022 Cape Fear Festival of Trees runs from Nov. 18-Jan. 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Sponsored by First Citizens Bank, the 2022 event will feature 54 trees beautifully adorned by generous sponsors supporting Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Foundation. During its run, the Festival of Trees will close only on the two days of the year when the Aquarium is closed—Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

To sponsor a tree in support of the foundation, please contact Anne Hewitt, Senior Fundraising Executive, Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Foundation.

Touring the Festival of Trees is complimentary with an Aquarium admission. Please plan ahead for this beautiful tradition by reserving your tickets. During holidays and especially for special events like Festival of Trees, the Aquarium reservations sell out.

CARIBBEAN CORALS COMING SOON

Visitors to the Aquarium this fall will find themselves captivated by the spectacularly striking fish, corals and other species that inhabit the Caribbean Corals. This new habitat will also inspire individual action to protect our ocean habitats.
