Phantom Seas

Marine mysteries and haunted histories await you during our new Halloween event, Phantom Seas: Legends and Lore at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. On Oct. 26, guests will explore a haunted Aquarium featuring mysteries, ghost tales and folklore from across North Carolina. The event is included with admission for the day. Guests must purchase regular admission or make membership reservations in advance for that day.

Fall at the Aquarium

Fish at the Aquarium come in all colors, but have you noticed the colors of fall around the Aquarium grounds? Our horticulturalist and grounds team do a most excellent job maintaining the plants and gardens here year-round. They always try to plant native and remove invasive species when they can.
