Is there something you've always thought you'd like to see at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island - like a new animal, food options, a playground or other exciting addition? Now is your chance to share your ideas as we look to the future and begin a new master planning process!

A master plan is a five to ten year document that helps us create a roadmap for future site additions, new outdoor experiences and exhibits, new amenities and new programs. In 2010/2011, the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island worked with an outside agency to develop a master plan that helped us to develop our Sea Turtle Assistance and Rehabilitation (STAR) Center, our Soundside Pier, our Pollinator Garden and more. Roanoke Island is about to embark on creating a new road map to exciting growth at the Aquarium and we would value feedback to help guide our direction. Once a master plan is developed, this document will aid in determining the amount of funds necessary to move forward with exciting new plans.

We would sincerely appreciate your feedback! Please help us by taking a survey. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas!
