We’re open! The North Carolina Aquariums are ready to welcome you back to your happy place! For your safety, a few things have changed:
🐠 Aquarium capacity and tickets are limited
🐠 Aquarium Society Members must reserve tickets online
🐠 No tickets sold at the door
🐠 Purchase timed tickets online and in advance only
🐠 Face coverings are required for guests and staff
You can find more information and reserve your advance tickets on our Welcome Back page.
While daily dive programs, in-person tours and public feedings are paused, you can still explore more with the Aquariums’ virtual programs. Sneak a peek behind the scenes, experience a private animal cameo with an alligator, river otter or sea turtle, and much more.
Curious about Halloween activities? We’re scaring up a few treats for toddlers, children and adults.
Dress up the littles in your life for a socially-distanced stroller and wagon parade from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 27-29 at the Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. For an extra fee you will receive a bag with supplies for a spook-tacular, virtual activity on Friday, Oct. 30. Halloscreen Under the Sea delivers safe and festive fun at home for young ghouls and goblins. The new virtual event features a costumed dance party, creature features with live animals, and a professional magic show by No Sleeves Magic. Adults up to the challenge can join us virtually for a Halloween-themed trivia competition for the over-21 crowd. Game Night Untamed features the eerie aspects of the animal world, with prizes for top-score and most-spirited, Thursday, Oct. 15.
Finally, our entire team wishes to thank everyone who offered encouragement and support while we were closed-but-still-caring. We look forward to seeing you soon, and appreciate your patience as we refine our new systems to better and safely serve you.
