November 2019

November brings a few changes to the Aquarium. What’s that mean for you? More opportunities!

Ticket prices drop by $3 beginning Nov. 4. The discount continues while major repairs in the freshwater conservatory require its closure. Visitors can still explore the aquatic wonders of the saltwater galleries, touch pools, and outdoor gardens. Click below for more details.

On Veterans Day, we salute those who have served and sacrificed. All veteran, active, reserve, or retired members of the U.S. military with a valid service identification or proof of service, as well as spouses and dependents, will receive free admission on Nov. 11.

AquaCamp time! Kids, ages 5-12, can join us for an all-day adventure discovering more about sea stars, urchins and other “Incredible Invertebrates” on Nov. 11. Space is limited and preregistration is required.

The twinkle and glow of the Cape Fear Festival of Trees returns to inspire and delight. The event, presented by the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, is included with general admission Nov. 18 to Jan. 2.

Wishing everyone the warmest of Thanksgivings. We’re open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, but closed Thanksgiving Day.
