Join the festivities at the Aquarium’s Party for the Planet, April 21-23, in celebration of Earth Day. The event is free with admission or membership, and includes crafts and other activities. You can also visit with Aquarium educators and live animals on April 21 at the annual Crystal Coast Earth Day Festival at Fort Macon State Park. Look for details at the NC State Parks website.
Come to our Spadefish Gallery to view new works by the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, Carolinas Chapter. This “Feather Your Nest" exhibition celebrates North Carolina’s wild birds, from full-time residents to those that commonly migrate through the state. Member artists use a variety of techniques to create images that help others develop an appreciation and understanding of our natural world. The show was created especially for the North Carolina Aquariums by the Guild.
