We’re celebrating November with an attitude of gratitude.
Head our way on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, for FREE Aquarium admission for all. A thank-you to all our friends, supporters and veterans.
Children, ages 5-12, explore local wetlands and learn about salt marsh animals during Aquacamp. Space is limited and preregistration is required for the all-day camp Nov. 10.
Individuals with special needs and their families may enjoy our first Sensory Evening. Experience smaller crowds, engaging sensory activities and Aquarium fun with the price of admission 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 18.
Cape Fear Festival of Trees, presented by the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, returns to deck the halls with holiday cheer. Dozens of festive trees twinkle and delight visitors Nov. 20 through Jan. 1.
Our team is committed to saving animals from extinction. Learn how we helped recent efforts to save the most endangered marine mammal in the world and released threatened sea turtles.
Holiday magic continues in December. St. Nick flies in for an entire weekend of Santa by the Sea with photos, a hint of snow and the jolly elf diving with his aquatic friends, Dec. 16 and 17. These activities are included with the price of admission.
Finally this month, be on the lookout soon for a special notice about #GivingTuesday — it's a great time to support the NC Aquariums with a tax-deductible gift.
