SHARKS! Celebrate these amazing animals with us on July 14 during Shark Awareness Day! Play jawesome games, watch fin-tastic movies, and see the sharks get a snack. This event is included with regular admission.

Summer weather means the return of our popular outdoor programs! Try your hand at crabbing, drop a line from our Soundside Pier, or paddle around Roanoke Island. You can reserve your spot for these fee-based programs now!

See how Outer Banks author Suzanne Tate’s beloved Nature Series comes to life! The art exhibit Birth of a Book showcases Tate's newest children's story, Timmy T. Frog, along with illustrations by James Melvin. The exhibit will be on display across from the Gift Shop through July 7.

Freedmen, Surfmen, Heroes will be presented in Neptune’s Theater on July 5, in cooperation with the Pea Island Preservation Society. Learn the heroic history of the Pea Island Life Savers through engaging storytelling. It's a message of teamwork and perseverance. Free with regular admission.
